This is a question that has been asked numerous times and I know I have wanted to do it on occasion, but have been stymied. For Vegas 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0 this is a simple task, sadly one that is not easily located in the tutorial. Actually, I didn't find it at all. jagwriter78 stumbled on it accidentally. Open the Video event pan/crop window, right click on the clip, and select "Flip Horizontal". There is also a "Flip Vertical" option and options to match aspect ratios which I have not had a chance to experiment with.
