Aw man..... I dub thee the "I miss Rose" week
Not only did I make that vid with HRS which sent me into a complete state of "I want Rose back", no, then we get "The Shakespeare Code" and the Doctor mentions her not only once but
twice! Oh, he is so definitely not over her. I loved it how he said her name just made him stronger. That was so damn sweet!
Now that being said, I absolutely
love Martha. She is very different from Rose. I am glad about that. They are both on completely different levels. I really enjoyed her rambles about messing up the timeline. I laughed out loud when she got so confused about the world ending in 1599 cause she was born in 1980 something which clearly was afterwards and the Doctor trying to explain it to her using the "Back to the Future" movie. Her expression was priceless when she said "Am I going to fade like Marty?"

This episode also brought me back to liking Shakespeare in a way. I thought the characterization was brilliant. My Shakespeare prof is one of those theorists out there that believe that Shakespeare was in fact not just one person, but more a group of writers who wrote under the name of Shakespeare. His most important argument is that no one man can have such genius in one person. Hehehehe, I shall give him that episode and have him watch it!

I know he'll probably tell me afterwards that he was right in that Shakespeare was ruled by witch craft

To which I am then just going to tell him that Love's Labor Lost was not the last play he wrote

On a last note, the blonde girl who played the younger witch looked a bit familiar to me, but I don't know where I know her from. Someone mentioned Hex, but I have never seen that show. Maybe she just has one of those faces.....
