One of the people with video uploading access to this website wiped the whole video database clean a couple days ago. I am still trying to sort this out and get it running again, so the videos have gone offline for a short period of time. None of the videos uploaded to this site have been lost, just the database was wiped clean. The videos will come back as soon as I have figured out what went wrong where and have fixed that error.

ETA: The video section has been fixed and a security fix has been implemented to prevent this from happening again. A few entries in the database have been lost. If you had your videos listed in the database, please check to see if any are missing. If they are, get in touch with me please BEFORE you make any changes. I am also taking this time to update the database and purge inactive vidders from the database. If you have not contacted me by Dec 31st, your videos will be permanently removed.

We have recently moved to a new host and took the opportunity to upgrade the software to a more stable and secure version. While doing so, we ran into a few problems and had to do a complete redesign of the website, as you may have noticed. A few components became corrupt (most importantly the Fan Fiction module). Therefore, the Fan Fiction section has been remodeled. New stories will not be accepted at this point. However, we are looking into restoring that section very soon.

The Video download section has been successfully upgraded without any problems. I randomly tested links and everything should work fine. What I cannot test is your personal permissions. They should work all right though. If they dont, please let us know so we can fix it. The upload script is still rather unwieldy, so for the time being, you will have to continue using the upload script as you have done until now.

I am really sorry for the downtime yesterday. Someone hacked the Photo Gallery on one of my other domains and started a DDOS attack on the server. My hosting company shut down my complete hosting to check on the damage and first turned it back on after they had made sure no more attacks like those could happen.

To everyone I am hosting - nothing on this domain was compromised! 

That being said - the photo gallery on this domain has gone offline for a little while. It's running on the same software than the one that was hacked on the other domain. I don't want a repeat of what has happened yesterday so I am switching to another software which hopefully will prevent such issues in the future.
